Our industry is facing unprecedented challenges over the next few years and funding is going to be increasingly expensive to generate. While there are many things we cannot change about the challenges our organizations will face, there are things we can change - by working together as a nonprofit community.

Even if every organization is doing everything right, as a sector we are leaving resources on the table by not working together. Each session leader has insight into a particular part of our nonprofit industry where we, as a group, are not fully utilizing the resources available to us and will lead a conversation on how organizations can work together to capitalize on these resources for everyone’s benefit - leadership, staff, clients, and the overall community.

Collaboratory is not a conference. There won’t be any sales pitches or tables of vendors. Collaboratory is a gathering of nonprofit leaders for the benefit of nonprofit leaders and where the day goes will be largely determined by the attendees. The sessions at Collaboratory are facilitated conversations, there won’t be any lectures or people asking us to fundraise to pay them.

Every attendee will leave at the end of the day with a combination of immediate things they can do within our nonprofit community to create connection and goodwill and longer term things that organizations want to work on over time and Foundation for Nonprofits will provide whatever follow-up logistics and support is requested.
